Cariad Marketing Launches AJ Furniture website

Based in the village of Kneesworth, just outside Royston, AJ Furniture, is a family-run furniture-making company in the business for some 35 years. Recognizing the need for change, they approached Cariad Marketing to build a fully responsive website to showcase their range of bespoke, handcrafted furniture as well as individual pieces sourced from their quality suppliers.

The Brief

AJ Furniture specialises in bespoke furniture-making, creating unique items to order, ranging from fitted bedrooms, home offices and living spaces to individual sideboards and bookcases. They can also source manufactured items from a range of suppliers whom you won’t find on the high street.

The website brief was to create a website that was simple for users to navigate and view the quality and range of furniture on offer. It was also important to highlight testimonials as a valuable endorsement of the business.

The Result

Cariad Marketing designed and built a fully responsive website – particularly important in the wake of Google’s latest algorithm change which gives greater weighting to responsive websites in searches when customers are using Google on a mobile device.

AJ Furniture also wanted flexibility where they could add their own content as and when they required. To meet this requirement, the website is built on a CMS system which means content can be managed easily and quickly.
