Cariad Marketing partner with The Muscle Help Foundation charity to deliver #powerof657 campaign

The Cariad team are excited to announce our new partnership with Hertfordshire based charity, The Muscle Help Foundation (MHF). Cariad will be working with the charity to help engage and reach a wider audience online, enabling MHF to benefit more families suffering from the muscle debilitating disease.

The Muscle Help Foundation provides completely personalised once-in-a-lifetime experiences for children and young people suffering from Muscular Dystrophy, under the project name Muscle Dreams. At Cariad, we will be working to achieve the aim of increasing these Muscle Dreams, with a new campaign labelled #powerof657.

Michael McGrath, CEO of MHF, was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 18. As an inspirational figure, he became the first disabled person to successfully lead expeditions to both the North and South Poles.  Michael told us:

“Despite being a small family charity with extremely limited resources, we’re proud to punch above our weight in terms of our online footprint but we now desperately need more help, more support, more resources like never before! We are so pleased to have Cariad on board and we cannot wait to get underway with our new ‘#powerof657 campaign; delivering Muscle Dreams to as many young people and children affected by Muscular Dystrophy as we can”.

Muscular Dystrophy is a progressive condition that often begins by affecting a particular group of muscles before affecting the muscles more widely. Some types of MD eventually affect the heart or the muscles used for breathing, at which point the condition becomes life threatening. Unfortunately there is currently no cure for MD, however the MHF are here to offer support and relief through once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
