CAS Electrical New Website

Our web developers have been hard at work redesigning and relaunching a responsive WordPress website for one of our long-term clients, CAS Electrical. Complete with a fresh design, the new website is now compatible with all sizes and makes of mobiles and tablets.

Overall, CAS’s new website is very easy and intuitive to navigate. CAS have a number of target client groups requiring a NICEIC approved electrician – domestic, schools & colleges and commercial – so it had to be easy for different clients to quickly and easily navigate to information about their specific requirements.

CAS Electrical was established more than 25 years ago and has built up an excellent reputation as one of the leading electrical companies in the London and Hertfordshire areas. It is a family run company of accredited electrical contractors providing high quality electrical services to domestic, industrial, educational and commercial companies. The company provides a 12 month guarantee on all work done, further cementing its good local reputation.

It was our job to make sure that the new website reflected CAS’s work ethic at the same time as showcasing their experience, qualifications and accreditation. We did this by adding a summary of CAS’s qualities, accreditation logos and a call to action on every page.

Web Design

For the sake of continuity, CAS wanted to retain the company colours used in the old website, but wanted the new design to be clearer and with more white space, making it easier to read. When the design of a website is clean and open, the copy becomes more readable and a company is therefore more likely to get their message across.

In terms of SEO, everything stayed the same – we have been working on CAS’s website optimisation for a few years, so all we needed to do was migrate the existing copy to the new website. We did add a couple of new pages to optimise the site as much as possible, but because most of the work was already done, we were able to save money on copywriting for them.
