Not to blow our own trumpet or anything, but we’ve only gone and won another award! This time we’re the Gold winner of the Best Business of the Year Less than 50 Employees at the SME Hertfordshire Business Awards.
As a result, we’ll be going for gold again, this time at the SME National Business Awards, which means there’s a possibility we’ll be the UK’s Best Business of the Year Less than 50 Employees by Christmas. We’ll be donning our glad rags again and heading off to Wembley in December to find out.
Oh go on then, just a small one…
Needless to say, the team had a fabulous evening at the (bar at the) Mercure Hunton Park Hotel. It was a black tie do, so it was lovely to see everyone dressed up for a big night out – especially after we’ve only been able to see each other online over the past couple of years. In other words, we scrub up well!
Cariad commander-in-chief Justine is, as you’d expect, elated with the award: “We were up against some incredible companies, all of whom have had their own struggles as a result of the pandemic, so I was shocked as well as thrilled when our name was announced. Everyone in Team Cariad works really hard to achieve results for clients, and they often go above and beyond to make things happen. So it’s absolutely fantastic they’ve been recognised in this way.”
Cariad also carried away the Silver award in the Best Customer Service category – another reason to celebrate!
We weren’t alone at the awards – huge congratulations to our good friend Nick Duggan from The Radiator Centre. He won the Gold award for Lockdown Leader in recognition of the work he did to successfully adapt his business to the ‘new normal’ that resulted from the lockdowns. We’ll be with him at Wembley to see if he can be crowned the national Lockdown Leader.
Congratulations also to Fiona Edwards of JPA who added a Bronze to her own portfolio of award wins in the Business Hero category.
