Congratulations to the three finalists of the Local Business Accelerators competition announced in The Mercury.  Each finalist has won £8,000 of advertising and advice from three mentors: Tim Hutchings – Chief Executive of the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry, David Suckling – Ware-based accountant and Justine Perry – director and owner of Cariad Marketing.

The three finalists are: Stephen Winn of Black Dog Murals (a branch of Black Dog Print); Andrew Chapman of Bespoke Woodwork and Stephen Begg, founder of Energy at Work.

Shortly, one of the trio will be chosen to go through to a National Final judged by Deborah Meaden from TV’s Dragons’ Den – with the ultimate prize of a year’s mentoring from Deborah herself and an ad campaign devised by a top London ad agency.
