Sarah has been a copywriter for more years than she cares to admit, but as a result, has gained a lot of valuable experience in digital marketing: website copy, blogs, social media and scripts for online videos. She has carved a niche writing copy for business award entries and has become used to waving off many short-listed clients as they don their glad rags and head to glittering award ceremonies … then congratulating them on their success!
Before opting for the life of a copywriter (where, in her experience, more cake is consumed than in any other profession), she worked as a radio producer, features writer and occasional journalist.
When she’s not copywriting, Sarah can often be found writing creatively. She has had a number of poems published in anthologies, as well as flash fiction. She has put her novel on hold in order to spend time developing a play which she hopes to stage shortly (watch this space).
As writing’s such a sedentary activity she revives her muscles by walking, going to the gym and adventures (often involving zip wires). She then undoes all the good work by indulging in too much wine and cheese …
