During recent weeks there’s been a great deal of negative comments about Google but we’re not going to dwell on that today because we like Google, and we know Google is good for business. Finance and taxation issues are not our bag but online visibility is – that’s a positive Google story.
So leaving the tax avoidance chatter behind with the accountants and the journalists, that’s the negatives dealt with. Over the next few weeks, in our marketing blog articles, we’ll be looking at the positives and how Google can help small businesses.
Of course, as we build websites at Cariad Marketing, you’d expect us to list SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) as our number one useful tool for online visibility; and Google, by providing every website owner free access to its Google Analytics (GA) dashboard, the world’s biggest search engine is giving businesses “real-time management information” about their existing and potential customers.
“How do they do that?” we hear you ask! Google can track site visits for you. For example, Google Analytics can show you the length of time your average customer stays on your website, how many new and returning visitors you have attracted to your site and when they visited, which pages they visited and, by default, which pages they missed. All this information is free. Check out Google Analytics if you haven’t already done so, it’s a vital and free tool from Google for every business.
If you’d like us to work with you to improve your online visibility via SEO Consultancy Services or would like us to manage your Google Analytics account for you and interpret the management information provided, then do please get in touch by email or call us on 01992 582 824, we’d love to help you grow your business.
